WADE is more than just my middle name.
it was my Grandma's family name.
It is more than a walk in shallow water.
It represents stories of resilience,
love, strength, and laughter.
Most importantly, it is a
beautiful daily reminder
of the world's best
oatmeal cookies
& raisin pie.

SITTING BY A CAMPFIRE,
OR GAZING AT THE STARS.

and what i am doing here.!

WHO AM I?!

I walk through the world with a softness that steeps its way into everything I do. Love, acceptance, belonging, and identity are constant themes in my life and are directly reflected in my body of work.

I am a singer, actor, dancer, photographer, writer, visual artist, son, traveler, mother to Sparkle the cat, and proud member of InKloosiv Voices, Toronto's gospel and R&B choir.

The heart behind
the lens:

My ability to connect and tell stories is directly tied to me as both a performer and visual artist.  I approach the art of photography with a deep passion for feeling, and with a profound respect for the miracle that it is to capture time.  That being said, as someone who is horridly shy in front of the camera, I approach photography with a gentle ease, low stakes, humour, and with light & love.  Above all, I believe that life and love are the most sacred, and it is the honour of my life to document it.

My Approach:

"Do you know why birds sing just before dawn? Scientists believe it's to tell their mates that they made it through the night, as a way of saying, "I'm still here." Maybe that's why we sing, too, why we create art—as a way of saying, "I made it. I'm still here."
